Yes why are they so expensive? FEBUR WATER RACING RADIATOR VTR 1000 SP1/ SP2 2000-2006

I can see $500 or a little more but $2,000 Holly crap. I paid 10,000 for the whole bike new in 2001. I just paid 5000 for a 2001 that needs work. I can get two new fans all the hoses and two spall under $500. To do this mod by the time I'm done ill have 2,500 into a radiator I paid 5 000 for the bike. It's just not realistic for anyone to do. Maybe if you race and have sponsors paying. But for someone just wanting to upgrade it's not worth it to even bother. A kit like this was affordable back in 05. I don't get it

We do not set the prices, The manufacture does. Just because the bike is old that does not mean the material or time to make it is any different to a current year model.
$500 does not go far these days. These are also not to be used on the street as they do not have provisions for the fans, they are a race only item.
